Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Social Tapir (socialtapir.com), a service operated by MAGNUS DIGITAL SDN BHD (Registration No. 1242851-T) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Social Tapir is an AI-powered marketing platform that helps small and medium businesses build a brand and audience profile, generate a monthly content strategy, and create captions and images for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, which you review and approve before they are published to your connected accounts.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and AI credits

  • Certain features require a paid subscription, billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Some features consume “AI credits,” a usage-based allowance for AI-generated content, priced and described within the app.
  • Subscription and credit prices may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material price changes before they take effect. Billing cycles already in progress are not retroactively changed.
  • You can cancel at any time by permanently deleting your account (Settings → Danger Zone); see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

5. Your content and license to us

You retain ownership of the business information, brand assets, and content you upload or create using the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including generating strategies, captions, and images, and publishing to the social accounts you connect. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it is published.

6. AI-generated content

Content generated by the Service is produced using third-party AI models and is provided as a starting point for your marketing activity. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, brand-appropriate, or free of errors. You are responsible for reviewing all content before publishing, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws, advertising standards, and the policies of the platforms you publish to.

7. Connected social accounts

When you connect a Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account, you authorize us to publish content and retrieve analytics on your behalf, subject to the permissions you grant during that platform's own authorization flow. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their respective terms of service, and we are not responsible for actions those platforms take against your account (such as suspension) as a result of content you choose to publish.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate or publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent content, to misuse the platform to circumvent usage limits, or to interfere with the Service's operation or security.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone; this permanently and irreversibly deletes your company's data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular marketing result, engagement, or business outcome from using the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAGNUS DIGITAL SDN BHD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
